This Privacy Policy applies to Booking-In-Time Software only. It has no subsidiaries and affiliations and covers our processing activities as a data controller.

We do not sell our services to children under the age of 17 as the software is not intended for them. As such, our software and website is designed for adult user interaction with businesses only.

We are not required to employ an official data protection officer under the data protection laws. We collect, store and use information about the frequency of your visits to our Site and about the devices through which you access it. This includes the following information:

  • We encrypt all credit card numbers and details using industry standard technology.

How You Can Protect Your Information

In order to secure your data and precious information, we advise that you should take the following steps:

  • Maintain an updated anti-virus software on all workstations from where our site and software is accessed and from where your business’s engagements in credit card processing is conducted.
  • Remove any programs from the hardware that the anti-virus software flags as potentially malicious.
  • Grant permission to install software on Subscriber’s business owner and/or trusted senior staff only. Restrict installation on any other system that is not trusted.
  • Maintain up-to-date versions of operating systems (e.g., Microsoft Windows or Macintosh OS) and web browsers (e.g., Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome or Safari).
  • Ensure all security updates and patches are installed on all devices from where the Site and software is accessed.
  • Ensure that every individual that logs into the site and software has an exclusive username and password that is known to that particular individual and you (business owner) only.
  • Abolish any hard copy documents and soft copy files that have Cardholder Data written on them.
  • Share your (business owner) credentials with your team on a need-to-know basis only.
  • Make sure your team understands that the login credentials grant access to sensitive and confidential business data.

No fee is usually required
In order to access your personal data, you will not be charged with any fee. However, we may charge a reasonable fee if we find your request unfounded in its nature.

We may try to respond to all legitimate requests under a month. Occasionally, it may take longer than a month if your request is particularly complex and if you have made more than one request. In this case, we will notify and keep you informed.
